I like Pantene shampoo. One of the reasons is that it is strong enough to really clean your hair but not so hard that it dries your scalp. In the past I have highlights and I have this shampoo without any harmful effects used. Granted, if I turn my hair I would use a shampoo specifically designed for treated hair (probably dyed Pantene because I am a creature of habit).
As far as conditioning, I must say that it is very easy. For my daughter, for example, the finestraight, but surprisingly easy-to-coil hair, we still use a Detangler. So it is a light conditioning effect than if you used a separate air conditioning. Personally, I like this because it does not frizz "weighting" checked in my hair, just the humidity.
Overall, a gentle, thorough cleaning with gentle conditioning that easier to comb after shampooing can.
